Tom Thaler is Product Manager at Software AG and responsible for Business Process Modeling and Analysis with ARIS. He received his master degree in information systems from Saarland University, where he graduated with honors and received the Best Diploma Award from SERES Unit. He worked at META-LEVEL Software AG as a Software Developer and at SAP as a Business Intelligence Consultant. In 2012, Tom started working at the German Research Center for Artificial Intelligence (DFKI). He managed and worked in various research projects. He received the Outstanding Matcher Award 2013 in Beijing for his work on process model matching and developed an outstanding performing approach in the Process Model Matching Contest 2015. His work has been published in leading scientific conferences such as BPM and WI. In parallel to his Product Management position, he finalized his doctoral thesis in the area of Business Process Management.
