Saimir Bala  is a Project Staff Member and Ph.D. student at the WU (Vienna University of Economics and Business) since 2014. He obtained his master degree in Distributed Systems at Sapienza University of Rome. His master thesis dealt with the implementation of a fault tolerant web-service orchestrator for the GreenerBuildings EU project. Currently he is part of the Safety-critical Human- and dAta-centric Process management in Engineering projects (SHAPE) funded by the Austrian Research Promotion Agency (FFG) under grant 845638 (SHAPE). Saimir’s research focuses on mining project using the data generated from the various project management tools and version control systems. His research interests include mining software repositories, pro- cess mining and text mining.
