Daniel Beimborn is Professor of Information Systems at the Frankfurt School of Finance & Management. Before, he held a PostDoc position at the University of Bamberg, Germany, and received his PhD from Goethe University in Frankfurt. He was Visiting Researcher at Georgia State University, Louisiana State University, and Microsoft in Redmond. At Frankfurt School, he is heading the Digital Business concentration of the Master in Management and he is co-head of the ProcessLab research center. He teaches courses on Strategic IS Management, Enterprise Systems, and Enterprise Architecture Management. His research focuses on outsourcing, business process management, digital transformation, and business/IT alignment. He has published in various internationally renowned journals, such as MIS Quarterly, Journal of Management Information Systems, Journal of Strategic Information Systems, and Journal of Information Technology. Services to the academic community include, among others, being associate editor of BISE and member of the Editorial Review Board of JAIS.
